Tổng quan Trạng từ chỉ tần suất
1. Định nghĩa:
Trạng từ chỉ Tần suất (Adverb of frequency) là trạng từ dùng để diễn đạt mức độ thường xuyên của một sự vật hoặc một hiện tượng nào đó.
2. Trường hợp sử dụng:
a. Trạng từ diễn đạt mức độ thường xuyên của một hành động (always, rarely, sometime,..)
Ví dụ:
- “She always makes our clothes,” Felipa said. – (“Cô ấy luôn tạo ra quần áo của chúng tôi” Felipa nói)
- She rarely left the house and lived in the library. (Cô ấy hiếm khi rời khỏi nhà và sống trong thư viện)
b. Trạng từ dùng để trả lời câu hỏi “How often?”
Ví dụ:
- He left sometime before lunch. (Anh ấy thỉnh thoảng rời đi trước bữa trưa)
- We hardly ever see you at gym. (Hầu như không khi nào tôi thấy bạn ở phòng tập)
c. Vị trí trong câu:
a. Đứng sau Động từ Tobe
Ví dụ: She is always modest about his achievements. (Cô ấy luôn khiêm tốn về thành quả của mình)
b. Đứng trước Động từ thường
Ví dụ: He usually holds on me back. (Anh ấy thường xuyên giữ tôi lại)
c. Đứng trước Trợ động từ và Động từ chính
Ví dụ: I have never been abroad. (Tôi chưa bao giờ ra nước ngoài.)
d. Xuất hiện ở đầu câu, cuối câu (trừ always, hardly, ever và never)
Ví dụ:
- Sometime she would have to let go. (Đôi khi cô ấy không cần phải đi)
- She said she missed you, always. (Cô ấy nói cô ấy nhớ bạn, luôn luôn)
